What will we do?
Welcome to the port
We'll meet 10 minutes before the start of the activity at the main entrance of Marina Port Vell, the city's most exclusive marina, to go to the catamaran.
Boarding on the catamaran
Our crew will welcome you on board and the chef in charge of the cooking class will briefly explain the history of paella.. Additionally, they will introduce the local ingredients we'll use during the masterclass.. Once done, we'll cast off.
Let's sail!
During the catamaran ride, you'll be able to see the historic monuments of Port Vell and if conditions allow, we'll hoist the sails to sail out to open sea. If you wish, we'll make a strategic stop to enjoy a refreshing swim and practice paddle surf.
Cooking class time
While the ride continues, our chef will teach you how to cook paella step by step.. You'll be able to participate in the entire process, from ingredient preparation to the final cooking. When the paella is ready, we'll invite you to the table to taste the result with a selection of exquisite local wines

Although we call it a cooking class, it’s actually a masterclass focused on paella. You’ll learn how to prepare an authentic paella from scratch, guided by a professional chef, all while enjoying the sea breeze

The experience includes a live paella cooking session with a chef, drinks like cava, wine, soft drinks and water, as well as the catamaran cruise, crew, music system, and all necessary equipment.
How long does the cooking class last?
It usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. You'll cook, learn, and then enjoy the meal while sailing with beautiful views of Barcelona’s coastline.
Can I customize the paella recipe?
Yes, the dish can be adapted to dietary preferences or allergies (vegetarian, no seafood, gluten-free, etc.). Just let us know in advance.
How many people can join the class?
The experience is designed for groups of up to 12 people. We can also arrange options for larger groups upon request.
